Osor is a municipality in the mountainous area of La Selva full of character, where time seems to have stood still in order to preserve all its authenticity. Located in the Vall d’Osor, the village lives surrounded by water, forests and stone, with a direct relationship with nature and the living history of the territory.
Within the town centre, you can cross the riera d’Osor over the pont Vell, a 15th-century stone bridge. The bridge, together with the Romanesque church of Sant Pere d’Osor and the tower of Recs, are just some of the heritage elements that remind us of the village’s past as we walk along its cobbled paths.
The mountainous surroundings of Osor have also left us heritage elements linked to the surveillance of the territory, such as the Torre de Sant Joan, a military watchtower of which some remains still survive.
