The Fountain Alta is located in the urban center of Amer and is attached to a private house. Access to the fountain is via wide stairs. The construction, quite modern in design, is plastered and painted yellow, under a round arch. The spout is framed by two masonry benches. The fountain is named this way because it is the fountain situated at the highest point in the municipality.
