For over forty years, the capital of La Selva has celebrated the Ratafia Festival on the second weekend of November. During the days of the event, the main protagonist is the Ratafia Competition, in which an expert jury awards prizes to the best recipes of the year.
The festival extends to several emblematic spaces in the municipality. The large ratafia fair from all over the country is set up in the Farners square, along with artisan stalls where you can taste the products. The Firal square becomes the space for tasting and selling products made with ratafia, such as pastries, chocolates, or jams.
The program also includes the traditional Ratafia Competition, where the best homemade ratafias presented are chosen, as well as a wide range of cultural activities: concerts, talks, live distillation demonstrations, and presentations of new products.
