The original parish church of Arbúcies was consecrated in 923, but the current building corresponds to a construction from the early 17th century, enlarged and modified during the 17th, 19th and 20th centuries. It is a single-nave church covered with a ribbed vault and a polygonal apse, with an octagonal bell tower rebuilt in 1959.
