This gate, the only one preserved of the four that once existed in the town, has maintained its primitive form since the 14th century. Also known as the portal dels Ollers, it connects with the path of the same name that links to the track leading to the vegetable gardens (les hortes), the mill, and the Tordera river. On the outside, there used to be a public laundry basin and some “reposadors” (resting benches) to rest after the ascent from les Hortes.
