This circular route starts at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of El Vilar. It combines sections of forest track with very pleasant narrow paths, climbing and descending several hills before reaching the Iberian settlement of Montbarbat.
This settlement stands at the top of the mountain of the same name, at an altitude of 331 metres, in the Coastal Range. From here (and before setting off on the return journey), you can enjoy magnificent views of the coastline.
The route is signposted with directional signs (trail signposts) and trail markings (a white painted stripe).
