In the Viscounty of Cabrera, commerce was very dynamic and was well represented by markets, its ultimate expression. It was structured around communication routes that linked the different towns and urban centers, and it also had good connections with maritime routes.
Les Pipes Mill Bridge was related to the network of paths of the Viscounty of Cabrera, given that several communication routes passed through this sector, linking the Arbúcies valley with Santa Maria de Lliors, Sant Marçal del Montseny and, towards the coll de Revell, with Osona. The current bridge, possibly of Romanesque origin and with a single arch, features a semicircular arch at the bottom of which the marks of the formwork used to build the vault can still be observed.
