Brunyola is a small municipality but one with great character, capable of transporting visitors through time. Its castle, church and historic centre create a setting with a long history linked to the feudal and rural world, surrounded by a landscape that breathes authenticity and calm.
Walking through its streets is quite an experience: it is surprising to discover how the old castle, of which three of the four original towers are still preserved, has been naturally integrated into the appearance of the village, forming part of its everyday life.
But if Brunyola is known for anything, it is for the hazelnut: the cultivation of this nut largely shapes the landscape! So much so that, for one weekend a year, Brunyola becomes the capital of the hazelnut, with a festival full of activities where this local product becomes the great protagonist.
