Starting point: Railway Station Park (Sils).
The route runs through one of the region’s protected natural areas: Sils Lake, a wetland combining woodland, poplar plantations, hay meadows and grasslands. It is home to numerous animal species, among which the birds are particularly remarkable. The route is suitable for all types of users. It is almost entirely flat and broadly follows the perimeter of the natural area after which it is named. Despite its short length, it offers a pleasant walk and, with a little luck, the opportunity to observe some of the wildlife associated with the wetland habitats of the floodplain.
