This linear route crosses a pleasant agricultural area, passing Marata Tower (a privately owned 13th-century walled fortification) and reaching the Devil’s Bridge (built in the 18th century to cross the irrigation channel). It also offers the option of continuing to Sils Lake (an area of natural interest and a recognised wetland). The route is signposted with the Via Augusta painted trail markings (yellow and blue stripes) and vertical directional signs (trail signposts).
