The origin of the hermitage is not known, but it could have been part of the castle of Caldes both due to its location, near the thermal baths where the castle is built, and also due to the configuration of its rear wall, made of stone in a row and loopholes.
The hermitage is located on Puig de Sant Grau, in the center of the town of Caldes . It has a nave and two small chapels dedicated to Sant. Grau and Our Lady of Remei. In the upper part, shifted to the right of what should be the ridge beam, we find a wall bell tower with a bell. Probably, parts of the foundations of this hermitage are from the disappeared medieval wall and which is preserved in sections.
