The first documented records of Sant Climent date back to 1066, when it was known as Sant Climent de Securun. Sant Climent was an old parish church dependent on that of Santa Maria d’Amer, and was dedicated to the first successor of Sant Pere. The current building originates from a 17th-century construction. Important renovations were made in the 19th century, specifically in 1877, as indicated by the lintel of the door where the date is engraved. These interventions deeply affected and changed the building.
It is a church with a rectangular plan covered with a gable roof. Attached to the front façade, there is a large bell tower with a square plan, featuring elements of Neo-Romanesque inspiration. On the left side façade of the church, there is a small cemetery.
