Sardana gathering in Santa Coloma de Farners

On the last Sunday of April each year, Santa Coloma celebrates its Sardana Gathering. It takes place in Sant Salvador Park, a place where many residents of Santa Coloma go for walks and relax.

At the end of April, the park becomes the scene of a gathering that brings together a multitude of sardana lovers gathered to dance and listen to the cobles that perform there.

Santa Coloma has a long history of sardana, which has given rise to numerous cobles (some of which are still active today) and composers. It was named the Ciutat Pubilla de la Sardana in 1981.
