The Anglès Sardana Gathering is a sardana meet-up held in the Canyó Spring park.
On 19 June 1955, beneath the trees of Can Burés, the cobla Montgrins launched the first Sardana Gathering in Anglès. It has since become a deeply rooted local tradition: devoting an entire day, from morning to evening, to dancing and listening to sardanes.
The Gathering takes place every year on the third Sunday of June and brings together colles and participants from all over Catalonia. The day also includes the presentation of the Floricel Rosa d’Or award, which honours people who have stood out for their work promoting the sardana and Catalan traditions.
