Fiporc is an annual gastronomic and sectoral fair dedicated entirely to the world of pork and its derived products. It is usually held during the month of February and has become a benchmark in Catalonia, highlighting the entire value chain of the pork industry.

During the weekend, tastings, workshops and demonstrations of the slaughtering and sausage making process are held. In this sense, these are days of information about the life cycle of the pig, from live exhibition to the preparation and tasting of its derived products.

Among the most outstanding activities is a tasting area with outdoor tastings of sausages, loins, bacon, ham and other pork products, as well as live demonstrations of the butcher’s trade and the traditional artisanal production process. In addition, the fair has a local market made up of stalls from small producers, where you can purchase quality sausages and other artisanal products. Family activities are also organized, such as children’s workshops to learn how to make artisanal sausages, as well as games and crafts designed for the little ones.
