At the beginning of September, the chapel of Nostra Senyora de les Fonts, in Salitja, located very close to the town centre, becomes a meeting point for residents, families and visitors for a day. The Aplec de les Fonts is celebrated there, a celebration of local traditions, including the solemn mass, the sardanas and the habaneras. It is an opportunity to discover an emblematic space of Salitja and enjoy music, culture and brotherhood in a privileged environment.
The gathering combines religious tradition and popular culture in a festive and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a popular lunch that invites sharing a table and conversations in the middle of nature. The day ends with the traditional cremat, one of the most anticipated moments of the meeting.
