The Reapers’ Revolt: the reapers are one of the most significant symbols in the history of Catalonia. In 1640, intolerable abuses in the towns of Sils, Riudarenes and Santa Coloma de Farners triggered the Reapers’ War. You can also visit Sils railway station and the Lake Interpretation Centre, where you will receive all the information needed to enjoy the lagoon and observe its birds, especially during the migration seasons.
