Spring of the Sant Narcís – Caldes de Malavella

The Spring of the Sant Narcís is part of the water culture that defines Caldes de Malavella. Located within the municipality and easy to access, it is one of the town’s best-known springs and a place where the everyday relationship between local people and mineral-rich waters is still very much alive.

Its water, which comes from underground and is rich in minerals, has long been appreciated both for daily use and for its value within Caldes’ thermal tradition. As with other springs in the municipality, its interest lies not only in the properties of the water, but also in the customs that have grown around it.

Even today, many people come here to fill bottles and containers, repeating a simple gesture that forms part of local life. The Spring of the Sant Narcís helps visitors understand that Caldes’ thermal heritage is not only ancient history, but a living practice that continues to be part of the town’s everyday life.
