The Ajust Festival, with more than 760 editions behind it, commemorates the transfer of the relics of the martyrs Sant Iscle and Santa Victòria from Vidreres to Breda in 1262. The festival features the giants’ dance, the fire run and sardanes. In 2016 the Monastery Fair began to be held alongside the Ajust Festival. The fair recreates the medieval and religious atmosphere around the Monastery of Sant Salvador, with a craft market (including demonstrations of Breda’s well-known pottery) and plenty of food options, especially roast pork and snail paella.
