Caldes de Malavella is a municipality with an identity marked by thermal water, history and heritage. Known since ancient times for its waters, the town keeps alive its Roman legacy and the spa tradition that has defined its character over the centuries.
In the municipality, in addition to finding relaxation and rest in its therapeutic spas, you can unwind by strolling under the shade of the trees along its rambles and parks, while looking for some of the many thermal springs spread throughout the town centre. On this walk, you will also find Roman ruins, such as those on the hill of Sant Grau, medieval remains and modernist towers. An essential stop is the Espai Aque, the museum centre that allows you to delve into the natural and cultural legacy of the town through an immersive route across various exhibition spaces, all of them surprising and full of history.
