Arbúcies

Discover Arbúcies

Arbúcies is a municipality closely linked to water, with streams, brooks and natural springs that define the landscape of this place located between the Montseny Natural Park (Biosphere Reserve) and the Guilleries massif. The castle of Montsoriu, which dominates the entire territory from the top of a hill at the edge of the municipality, is the most important Gothic castle in Catalonia and was one of the key constructions of the Viscounty of Cabrera.

The town has grown while preserving a close relationship with the forest, the stream and its traditions. It is an environment that combines heritage, nature and remarkable cultural richness. This balance between natural landscape and local life makes Arbúcies a very attractive destination for discovering the mountainous inland area of La Selva.
