Es Tint

Es Tint is an interpretation center located in the building of the Fishermen’s Guild of Lloret de Mar. The space is dedicated to showing how fishing nets were dyed in the past.

Until the 1960s, Lloret fishermen would go to Es Tint to dye their nets with a liquid made by boiling water and pine bark. At that time, the nets were made of hemp, esparto grass and later cotton.
