Els Forns Cultural Centre de Breda

The Viscountcy of Cabrera was a territory with a dynamic commercial economy, centred on its markets, which formed its main areas of influence. It was structured around a network of roads linking villages and urban centres, while also benefiting from good connections to maritime trade routes.

Since 1983, the Els Forns (The Ovens) Building has housed the cultural and tourist information centre of Breda, including an exhibition about the process of manufacturing Breda earthenware. It is one of the few examples preserved in the village of the old pottery workshops. Attention should be paid to the two Moorish kilns inside, part of the centuries-old architectonic legacy that earthenware manufacturing and trade have left, and which is still active to this day
