The Aplec d’Argimon is a gathering of neighbors that combines tradition, natural surroundings, and religion. It is traditionally celebrated on the second Sunday of September at the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Argimon, located in the village of Esparra (Riudarenes).
Attendees usually meet in the afternoon at the bend of Can Pere Llarg to set off on the path together; a mass is celebrated in honor of the Virgin of Argimon, there is a sardana dance, and a fellowship lunch is held outdoors.
