The parish of Sant Andreu de Ramió is located in the Ramió plain, in a natural setting where the Ramió and Can Massó streams meet. It is a Romanesque-origin ensemble integrated into an open rural landscape, with scattered buildings and a strong historical character.
The church dates back to the 12th century and has undergone various modifications between the 16th and 17th centuries. The current building has a single nave with side chapels and a partially modified apse. The façade is simple, with a semicircular arched stone doorway, and the attached square bell tower stands out as the main vertical element of the complex.
Documented since 1185, the parish was linked to the monastery of Sant Salvador de Breda and the Viscounty of Cabrera. The ensemble is completed by the rectory and a small cemetery, which form part of the same historical and heritage space.
