Route that has its starting point at the old Olot-Girona railway station and crosses the town of Anglès along Carrer del Nord until reaching the Bellveí path. At this point, the climb shared with the GR 178 Ruta d’en Serrallonga begins, up to the hermitage of Santa Bàrbara. The itinerary combines the main track up to the hermitage with many sections of path that help us shorten the route, crossing forests of pines, holm oaks and chestnut trees.
Arriving at the hermitage of Santa Bàrbara, at an altitude of 854 m, we will see a magnificent panoramic view of the Pyrenees, the Gulf of Roses, the Ter valley, the Pla de la Selva and the Guilleries mountain range.
From this point, the route returns to the municipality, descending along a forest track. Before arriving, we will find the hermitage of Sant Amanç, from the 11th century, which has been completely restored.
