A visit to the castle (off the itinerary) is highly recommended, as it is considered the most important Gothic castle in Catalunya, home of the Viscounts of Cabrera. The magnificent panoramic view of the region and Montseny from the top of the hill is also noteworthy. The fact that it runs through the interior of the Montseny Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve is the other great attraction of the route.
