Created in 1985, the MEMGA has a surface area of \u200b\u200b2,600m2. The museum is located in the center of the Vila d&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/enselvat.cat\/en\/municipi\/arbucies\/\">Arb\u00facies<\/a> in a building from the early 17th century that has been completely remodeled and adapted.  <\/p>\n<p>Throughout its 16 rooms, visitors can observe what is considered one of the best ethnological collections in the country. It also has an exceptional collection of medieval archaeology, from archaeological interventions at Montsoriu Castle. <\/p>\n<p>The Cabrera Space, Interpretation Centre of the <a href=\"https:\/\/larutadelscabrera.cat\/\">Viscounty of Cabrera,<\/a> complements the permanent exhibition rooms of the MEMGA.
