The viscountcy of Cabrera was a territory which, in the religious sphere, comprised various parishes with their churches and hermitages offering religious services for society. Likewise, many different monasteries of various religious orders were founded.<\/p>\n
The temple is of Romanesque origin and is documented in 1190, but the current building dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries while the bell tower dates back to the 18th century. On 3 May 1640, the soldiers of Ter\u00e7 de Moles burned and destroyed the church during the revolt at the outbreak of the Reapers’ War. The new building was constructed during the second half of the 17th century.<\/p>\n
It is a building with a Latin cross plan. The fa\u00e7ade has a large circular window and a gallery of tiled arches, now blinded. The bell tower, which is attached to the south fa\u00e7ade, preserves the old structure and is made of granite stones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
