Documented since the Middle Ages, it has been the space around which religious celebrations, community gatherings and important moments in local history have taken place.<\/p>\n<p>The building preserves elements of Romanesque origin, but it also reflects the changes it has undergone over time. As often happens with churches that have remained in use, Sant Pere is not a piece frozen in a single period, but the result of reforms and adaptations that speak of the village\u2019s continuity and of the way each generation has left its mark on it.<\/p>\n<p>Its presence in the centre of Osor helps explain the importance of this church within the municipality\u2019s identity. It stands not only as a religious building, but also as an urban and emotional reference point for the local population.
