During the Spanish Civil War, Can Dalmau was the headquarters of the POUM (Workers\u2019 Party of Marxist Unification), of the CNT (National Confederation of Labor), the Joventuts Llibert\u00e0ries (Libertarian Youth) and the Uni\u00f3 Republicana d\u2019Esquerra (Republican Union of the Left).
