Notable features include the single nave, polygonal apse, side chapels, ribbed vault and various Renaissance and Baroque details on the fa\u00e7ade and bell tower. The church was sacked and burnt down in 1809, during the Spanish War of Independence, and also in 1936 at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War.<\/p>\n<p>The bell tower of the church is functional, and the bells still ring out the time for us today.
